WEBER-TYROL HANS JOSEF

Hans Josef Weber-Tyrol was born on the 31st of October 1874 in Schwaz in Tyrol. He attended the Munich Academy under G. von Hackl, N. Gysis, and P. Höcker. After several exhibitions in Munich, his travels led him to Rome, Venice, Genoa, Naples, Paestum, and Capri. Finally, he returned to Munich. In 1929 he relocated to South Tyrol, where he founded the Tyrolean artists' association "The New Covenant". Hans Josef Weber-Tyrol died on the 14th of July 1957 in Appiano in South Tyrol.
