MOSBACHER ALOIS
geboren 1954 Strallegg/Steiermark
Mosbacher studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. His works range from figurative and abstract paintings to the installation-area. He is one of the main representatives of the New Painting area of the 80s. His works became already noticed in the 1980s, which was when the moribund painting became popular again. With figurative sensibility, painterly bravura, and narrative richness he liked to test his own works. Mosbacher received numerous awards and is represented in exhibitions and in numerous museums at home and abroad.
