BLAU-LANG TINA
Wien 1845 - 1916 Wien
Tina Blau, who was born on the 15th of November 1845 in Vienna, focused on landscapes and flowers. Tina Blau was a student from August Schaeffer of the Vienna Woods in Vienna. After several study trips to Eastern Europe and Italy her motives were chosen from that area. She often travelled through Austria on the search for new inspiration. That’s how the paintings of the Prater and Viennese designs were created, which were also connected to her trips to Perchtoldsdorf , Bad Kreuzen Dürnstein , Schladming, and Hofgastein . For the painting " Spring in the Prater " she received an honourable mention in Paris in 1883. Tina Blue passed away on October 31, 1916 in Vienna.
